The upright machining position of the EPA120 is an ideal enhancement of the upright automatic welding machine. The great advantage of a vertical design is being also able to clean very big units within a minimal amount of space without the need for manual rotation. All positioning movements of the window units take place on servo-axes.
The universal machine is suitable for frames and sashes. Non-profile-specific clamping mechanisms firmly hold the window unit in place whilst the machining takes place. Units with a profile cross-section measuring up to 125 x 125 mm can also be cleaned. Even the machining of acrylic sections, overlapping sections or distinctive combinations of wider sections is possible if desired.
Each standard machine has 7 tool spaces at the ‘front’ and 7 tool spaces at the ‘back’ at its disposal. General standard machining is already included in the basic configuration, so the remaining tool spaces can easily be fitted with additional tools.
