The self-driven overlap profile saw is an ideal supplement to highly automated assembly lines for PVC windows.
This appliance guarantees the highest cutting precision at a length of up to 2.50 metres, within a margin of 0.2 to 0.3 mm.
These optimal cutting results are achieved using specially developed mounting technology, where the sash is pressed from the inside against the saw edge. Profile margins, as well as technologically caused distortions to the welded sash, can be regulated effortlessly.
The on and off-loading of the sash occurs automatically. Axes are used for positioning moves and loading.
Optionally, a sash pivot can be used to swivel the components round to the sawing position.
Nozzles for suctioning away shavings during operation are also integrated. Following the saw cutting, the surplus piece will fall out of the operating range of the machine.
The data for the component processing at the overlap profile saw can be obtained at either the downstream or upstream machine, such as for example the automatic gasket insert machine or frame fittings mounting centre. A barcode reader may be installed in order to identify components.
Settings may be adjusted to allow frames and standard units to be fed through without being processed.
