LEMUTH has expanded its product portfolio.
With the help of the fully automatic post-and-rail machine, it is now possible to install all hardware on the posts and rails of a facade fully automatically.
The profile lengths can range from 400 mm to 6.000 mm.
Robots equipped with camera systems position and screw the base profiles onto the rail. At the same time, a single-arm robot collects all the longitudinal connectors to be processed on an intermediate buffer. The sleeves and connecting screws are inserted into these connectors. This occurs simultaneously with the installation of the base profile.
The intermediate buffer (tray) containing all necessary longitudinal connectors is then transferred to a robotic gantry. Meanwhile, the bar to be assembled is positioned and secured for the installation of the longitudinal connectors.
Camera and probe sensors detect the pre-drilled holes for installing the longitudinal connectors. Next, two single-arm robots position the longitudinal connectors to the right and left of the profile bar and screw them together.
This process is repeated along the entire length of the profile bar. Of course, all widths and lengths of the longitudinal connectors can be processed easily and without any changeover effort.
After all longitudinal connectors have been installed, the end connectors are mounted and screwed into place at the next station on both the inlet and outlet sides. In this module, a sixth single-arm robot retrieves the end connectors from the buffer and inserts the screws during the holding process.
Finally, the finished bar is rotated for placement on the buffer table and prepared for removal.
